Rich Scaduto wins PICC A, Weichmann wins PICC B

On a rainy breezy, but pretty mild morning the crew headed to Erie for the 2nd week of the PICC Spring Training Series.

Beginning of the A race was a slow pace taking a few laps to see how the corners and wind/rain would impact the race.

On about the third lap, Ben attacked in the first third of the climb into the wind. He got about a 20 second gap and Eric P (Hollyloft) bridged up to him.

At the near top of the climb, Bob Dahl attempted to bridge. He pulled Rich to Ben and Eric on the stretch leading to the Start/Finish road. Ben was still at the front of the group and was pulling pretty hard. Rich put in an attack and Bob Dahl (Hollyloft) matched. The two created a decent gap that wouldn’t be closed.

Rich was able to pull a few bike lengths on Bob for the win in the final stretch.

In the B Race an early lead group was established on the first lap. Tom, Brian, Alex, and JP got away with a few other riders. Alex and Brian put in hard efforts to drive the group. JP put in some attacks in an effort to tire the non-TBS riders.

In the end TBS took the 1st-4th spots and Tom got his first win of the 2012 season. Brian, Alex, and JP in tow.

Good showings by Barry, Bryan, and the Andrews (Dumps and AP) as well.
